How one woman processed the death of her son
In 2011, Karen openly described herself as successful, having the family, life, and career that she always wanted, with holidays, the house, the car, and the family she had always dreamed of having. Karen was a CFO for a large publicly listed company, and while she worked hard for what she had achieved, she felt that life was pretty perfect. However, in July that year, her life changed forever with the unexpected death of her 27-year-old-son Dan. In this episode, Karen and Dale discuss her journey, the highs, lows and how it led to her change career and help others process over 40 types of loss.
Host: Dale Maroney, 5th generation funeral director
Guest: Karen Chaston, mum of Dan and Co-Founder of The Chaston Centre
